I Hate My Job – Now What?
Talk to 9 out of 10 people and you’ll probably discover that most people hate their jobs. If you don’t believe me then just ask the next person you randomly bump into and notice their expression. I believe the reason that most people hang onto jobs or careers they loathe is simply out of fear. They fear not being able to provide in the way they deem suitable for themselves and their families so they slave away each day grinding it out week to week.
I personally feel that if there wasn’t such a thing as “Happy Hours” that many people would conveniently dispose of themselves because the pressure of life would be too much. I know you hate your job, I hear you. However, there is something you can do about it if you’re willing. Notice carefully my choice of words, “if you are willing.” This means that you don’t have to believe what I say. This means you don’t have to agree with what I say. This means that some of the information that I will share with you today may even be startling to your current belief system. This means that all I’m asking you today is be willing to explore another path.
The Wrong Path
It’s awfully presumptuous of me to even think that I know what the right path is for you. The truth is that I don’t. But if you are working somewhere (with no plan in place) every day that is driving you nuts then I think we can both probably agree that another way may be up for consideration. To be quite honest with you the gurus have it all wrong. Stress doesn’t kill you. Your belief about the things you think are stressing you is what will kill you.
If you don’t at least consider that the job ladder you’re climbing may be leaning up the against the wrong wall how else will you begin to change? Admitting that something is not working for you is not meant to be a personal indictment against you, however it is meant to wake you up from the dream that the “someday” that you keep telling your friends about will never come unless your realize there may be a problem and you’re proactive at doing something about it.
What Would It Mean To You
If you could wake up anytime you wanted to and do what you like each and every day how valuable would that be to you? Does being able to take a trip anytime of year without asking permission from a boss seem enticing to you? Aren’t you tired of begging for 2 – 3 vacations each and every year and getting those paltry 1% raises? Aren’t you ready to be able to visit seaside resorts locations without worrying about how much its going to cost or when you’ll have to return home? To be able to enjoy the freedom and type of lifestyle that I mentioned above is going to require some planning and execution.
Forget About the Recession
I want you to forget about the word “recession.” In fact, I want you to eliminate it from your vocabulary altogether and never use it again. The so-called recession is something that is beyond your control so why focus on it. What you do have control over is creating a Better You. A better you by its very nature means a better economy. Focus on improving YOU and watch any ideas you had about a recession magically melt away. Just because a recession party is looming doesn’t mean you have to join. Ignore it, concentrate on yourself and bringing lots of value to others and your life will soar.
Whatever It Takes
Let me get this out of the way now because I know what you may be thinking. You’re mumbling something like “I have to work this job that I hate because I have no other means of taking care of my family.” Hey, I get that. I can remember many times when there were opportunities all around me that I just didn’t see for whatever reason. I believed that the job I was working on was what I had to do at the time no matter how unhappy I was. These opportunities were right in my midst but because I wore certain blinders at the time these opportunities just passed me by. I was so keen on chasing the dollar and trying to make ends meet that I avoided creating awesomeness for myself and others.
Do whatever it takes to keep your head above water but by all means put something in place that will eventually get you out of that dead end job that you’ve admitted that you hate. I’m not asking you to quit the job you hate, I’m only asking you to look at something that can eventually ween you away from where you are now. In the long run it doesn’t serve you or your family to be involved in daily activities that don’t serve you. Today I’m going to share with you a way to begin to turn things around if you’re willing. I’m going to introduce you to something (not a pushbutton system to riches) that if you choose to take advantage of it will transform your life in ways you cannot imagine in one calendar year. It may be sooner than a year but I’ve found that its better to under promise and over deliver wouldn’t you agree.
Not For Everyone
I’ve stated alot of what I consider obvious things in this post but it’s for good reason. Sometimes what is obvious to me isn’t obvious to everyone else. The method for improving your income and embarking upon something that you love to do that I will share isn’t for everyone. I want you to know that I know this before going any further. If you’ve been reading this far then there’s a greater chance that the method I’ll share in just a moment for earning income online will work for you. Just remember that the entire premise of this post is for people who hate their jobs so if this isn’t for you then you can just keep on doing what you’re doing. Fair enough?
Making Money Online
Unless you’ve been hibernating in a cave then you have no doubt heard of the phrase “Making Money Online.” It has also being referred to as MMO which is the acronym that I will use to refer to it for the remainder of this post. If you were search the term in Google it would return more than 50 million results so just that alone tells you how popular the phrase is. People all over the world are seeking alternative ways to be able to supplement or replace their income with some type of MMO without having to leave their homes.
Now I’m not going to lie to you, there are more ways to MMO than there are people in China. There are also tons of ways to earn money besides the MMO niche. I’m sharing this particular strategy because in my experience it has the most upside potential with minimal investment. Along with this plethora of ways to MMO comes tons of push button systems that don’t work and were never intended to work. The only reason they exist are to take your hard earned money and transfer it to the bank accounts of so-called Internet marketing gurus. I’m going to help you avoid this pitfall altogether by sharing with you a FREE source that only requires your time and effort.
5 Types of People Online
Type #1 – A person that is already making a full-time living online but is consistently improving their skills. These Internet Marketers (IM’ers) practice what they teach and the remain students of the craft and never claim that they know everygthing.
Type #2 - A person that is a “know it all” and have closed themselves off to learning new things. All they are after is the quick fix and are more concerned with creating short-term results than building a real business where they have a sustainable business online.
Type #3 - This is your information collector. If you look on their hard drive they probably own all the popular e-books, reports, and at home study courses but they rarely if ever take action. They’re masters at buying stuff but they never feel like they know enough to take that first step. This type of person has been so brain-washed by the job mentality that they will always remain a spectator and never get in the game.
Type #4 - This person suffers from the “new shiny object syndrome” and they chase one new opportunity after another. Each week that you talk to them they’re always chasing something new. Imagine if you will a picture of a bunch of circles with open loops. None of the circles have closed loops which means that all of the projects they started on are only half done. This type of online marketer only produces mediocre results because they spread themselves way too thin.
Type #5 - These people choose one reputable course/coach/system to follow online. These people follow through to the end. These type of people hit it until they hit it and they have great attitudes about the entire process. They truly believe they will reach their intended targets if they keep moving in the recommended direction. These types of people are great at following instructions, taking action and end up finding their own style and developing their own ways of doing things. Simply by taking consistent action they discover other profitable ways of MMO that would have remained hidden to them otherwise. Resourcefulness is perhaps their number one trait and it can be yours too.
Focus and Fire Your Boss
Now that we got all the preliminary stuff out of the way its time to get down to the nitty gritty and show you a way that you can fire your boss. If you are currently working on a job then you know that your time is quite limited. You may be able to only carve out a few hours a week so you’ve got to make the most out of your time. The other important thing for me to share with you right here is that if you’re not going to work on your MMO business consistently then you may as well not start at all. MMO requires lots of consistent effort, besides you are going to be learning lots of new skills so you’ve got to be focused.
The Internet is notorious for its distractions (remember the type #4 person) and its easy to be online for several hours and not have gotten anything meaningful done. So whatever amount of time you’re able to carve out for yourself do it consistently and try to do it at the same time each week to help solidify that new habit. This is sage advice and perhaps the most understood with many newbies that are starting to build an online income. Please don’t underestimate the power of focus if you truly desire to fire your boss in the next 12 months.
Internet Marketing Isn’t For Everyone
I know I alluded to this earlier but its worth repeating. If you embark upon this journey thinking that you’re going to push a button and ton of cash is going to come flowing into your bank account you’ve got it all wrong. If you think you’re going to be earning a full-time income online in the next three weeks just save yourself some time and heartache and keep on doing what your doing.
Plan on working diligently for at least a year without seeing any huge results. You may be discouraged by what you accomplish in 30 days but you will be astounded at what you can accomplish in one year. If you don’t plan to work out in the fields tilling the soil and planting the seeds then don’t expect that you’ll be able to sit at the table and partake of the bountiful harvest once the crops start to bear fruit. Do the work and the results are certain.
Another very real pitfall for you if you’re just learning to make money online is following the wrong people. You may be a Type #5 person but are still not producing and real results or tangible income. This is normally because you are following the wrong system, i.e. your teacher’s methods are flawed and they will never work for you regardless of how much time you spend on them. The unqualified “wannabes” have no problem giving you crappy advice and profiting from it in the meantime. Don’t worry though, I’m going to show you something that will help change that for you today.
The goal that I have for you is that you work diligently in the MMO arena with whatever time you can carve out for yourself until you reach a threshold of knowledge and skills before you fire your boss and begin to make a full time income online. Remember I told you that Internet Marketing is not for everyone but if you treat this like a real business I can guarantee that you will have success online.
You are just as smart and brilliant as those that are making huge sums of income online. Once you attain the “specialized knowledge” and proven systems that work you too will be among the elite who have fired their bosses and wake up whatever time they desire. The real key here is that you plug yourself into proven Internet Marketing systems.
How To Make Money Online and Quit The Job You Hate
Hopefully you’ve read the entire post and not just skimmed it and landed here. All of the information in this post is vitally important so please go back and read the rest of it to really get an understanding of the message that I’m trying to convey. 
How much have you spent on e-books and other courses trying to better your life, $500, $1,000 or maybe more? How has that worked out for you so far? Are you tired of getting burned? If you’re truly serious and committed about MMO then you’ve got to promise yourself to STOP chasing the quick fix solution. It never has worked and it never will. For God’s sake FIND A QUALIFIED TEACHER THAT CAN SHOW YOU A RELIABLE, REPEATABLE SYSTEM and shun all the rest.
I’m not suggesting that it has to be the system that I’ll share with you today but I am suggesting that you find someone that is not selling you a bunch of crap. There’s no need for you to try and re-invent the wheel because there are Internet Marketers that have gone before you and made all the mistakes so you don’t have to but you have to know who they are. Plugging into a proven system will definitely lower your learning curve and something as simple as how to ftp can be taught to you in a few minutes rather than you spending a couple of hours trying to figure it out on your own.
There is a ton of misinformation online and its very difficult and almost next to impossible to forge this path alone. The time, pain and frustration that you will experience is not going to be pleasant – trust me on this one. You’ll become annoyed and frustrated and quit within a few months. If you think you can master IM from a few e-books without guidance and make a killing – you will be making a big mistake.
Make a Decision, Make it Happen
I know you want to fire your boss like yesterday. I also know how cool it would feel to you to be able to earn the same money online that you are making at your current job (if you have a job at all). I want to let you know that whatever you earn at your job right now, that it is also very possible to earn that same income online with less hours (but not in the beginning).
A reliable system will help you obtain one of the most important things with MMO – momentum. Getting your first sale will be the hardest but I promise you after that the sky is the limit. Make sure you set smaller goals for yourself such as making enough money online to pay your car note each month and then work your way up. These small victories are what will help keep you going rather than becoming discourage because you’re not making $5,000 a month yet.
The other real ingredient about making money online is that you’ve got to make a decision that this is the right vehicle for you. This has to be an endeavor that you are 100% committed to. If you approach IM half-heartedly you will fail. If you want real results you’re going to half to be totally committed. Remember this is a total mindset shift from what you use to and its a 360 turn from being on a JOB. Nobody is going to be there holding your hand and scolding you if you don’t do the things that will inevitably lead to your success.
If You’re Ready To Take Action
This post was aimed at people that hate their jobs. It was not intended to convince you to take any action you are not prepared to take. Hopefully, I was able to pour salt on some open wounds that needed to be healed. Perhaps I stimulated a part of your brain that needed to be awakened. Maybe I pissed you off enough that you will either do something different or stop complaining and realize you are where you want to be.
Perhaps you now know that if you are not currently earning the kind of money you desire that there is another way. You no longer have to see yourself as a victim of the so-called recession. Hopefully now you see yourself as “at cause” instead of “at effect.”
